Wooler taxi driver retires after 15 years

Ronald Hood, the proprietor of Ron’s Taxis, based at Weetwood Avenue in Wooler, is retiring tomorrow.

Ron would like to sincerely thank all his customers, colleagues and friends.

“It has been a great pleasure to be of service over the past 15 years,” he said.

However, Ron’s Taxis will continue as a taxi firm and will be run by Iain Moffat, of Station Road, Wooler, as the new proprietor.

The firm has eight, seven, six and four-passenger vehicles available.
