Woman found in River Coquet named
The woman whose body was recovered last week from the River Coquet at Rothbury has been named.
Julie Margaret Scott, 79, was from the Rothbury area.
Emergency services were called out at 8.30am on Wednesday, January 13, after police were told that a body had been seen in the river near Whitton Bank Road.
There is no suspected third-party involvement and reports are being prepared for the coroner.
