Police are appealing for witnesses after two separate incidents of criminal damage to vehicles in Northumberland.

The first happened in Burnside, Longhoughton, when a car was parked on a drive. It happened between 8pm on Thursday, March 5, and 5pm on Friday, March 6. An offender approached the vehicle and scratched the bonnet several times.

The second incident happened in Three Tuns Lane, Alnwick, when a car was left in a parking bay. It happened between 6pm on Saturday, March 7, and 9.45am on Sunday, March 8. An offender smashed the front headlights, pulled off a windscreen wiper and damaged the car with white gloss paint and yellow spray paint.
