Windsurfers back on the water
The Coquet Shorebase Trust Windsurfing Club were back on thewater for the first time this year as part of their Winter Racing Series. Well dressed in warm winter wetsuits and boots, the cold was no deterrent and the members were able to enjoy some exciting races on Ladyburn Lake, Druridge Bay Country Park.
They will be on the lake again on February 20 under the direction of coach, Allison Claydon. Coaching at Ladyburn Lake, for all ages and abilities, will begin again after Easter. Contact the Coquet Shorebase Trust for more information about windsurfing and other watersports on 01665 710367.
