Julie Egdell’s first collection of poems, Alice in Wonderland – about her time living in Russia, was published last year by Smokestack Books.

She won an Arts Council Grant to develop a multimedia spoken word show of the collection, involving live music and film, which saw her take the performance across the North East and Finland.
