Jugé Productions presents Muse. The Cheviot Centre, Wooler, 7.30pm. This cabaret evening seeks to recreate the nightlife of 1930s Berlin. National Theatre Live: Les Liaisons Dangereuses. Alnwick Playhouse, 7pm. Following its broadcasts of the William Shakespeare plays Coriolanus and King Lear, National Theatre Live brings the Donmar Warehouse’s acclaimed new production of Christopher Hampton’s adaptation of the 1782 Pierre Choderlos de Laclos novel Les Liaisons Dangereuses to cinemas nationwide. The Great Performing Rope – Where do we go from here? Film, cake and conversation. The Maltings, Berwick, 4.30pm. In October, the Great Performing Rope occupied the streets of Berwick, creating a 900-metre-long route through the town centre, carrying 900 personal stories, memories and hopes of the people of Berwick and visitors. Join November Club, the creative organisation behind the event, for a film screening documenting the event, some tea and cake and a conversation about what could happen next to these 900 stories for Berwick. Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are the chalk-and-cheese Ellis sisters, brought together by their parents’ unilateral decision to sell the old family home and move into a more manageable retirement condo. Ordered to clear out their childhood bedrooms, the overgrown kids resolve to stage one final party, reuniting the 1980s gang and rekindling their lost youth. Stick Man trail. Kielder Castle. Free admission. The Stickman trail is based on the much-loved book written by Julia Donaldson and illustrated by Axel Scheffler, and it follows the success of the attraction’s Gruffalo trail, based on another book by the pair. It starts at Kielder Castle, where families can pick up an activity pack. Actvity packs are available for £3 from the on-site cafe, open from 10am to 4pm. Parking £4.50 all day or £1.50 for one hour.
