Following a week of high temperatures, it is looking like more of the same this bank holiday weekend.

What will the weather be like on Saturday, May 23?

Temperatures are set to drop on Saturday with chances of sunny spells.

The Met Office is forecasting the day to be mainly cloudy however there will be sunny spells throughout the afternoon.

Temperatures are expected to be around 11°C in the morning but will pick up as the day goes on.

At its peak, temperatures are predicted to reach 14°C.

What will the weather be like on Sunday, May 25?

Following a drop on Saturday, temperatures are set to rise again by Sunday.

The day will start off with warm temperatures at around 13°C with some cloud.

By mid-afternoon, Northumberland is predicted to see highs of 18°C with sunny spells heading into the evening.

What will the weather be like on Monday, May 25?

Temperature wise, Monday is set to by the best day to be outdoors – with highs of 18°C throughout the afternoon.

It is also expected to be the sunniest day out of the weekend, with a little bit of cloud.

Temperatures in the morning are predicted to be 16°C at around 10am before rising after midday.
