Northumberland weather forecast: Met office issues weather warning for high winds

The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for wind today. We won’t see much sunshine either, but the temperature will be high for the time of year.

What will the weather be like in Northumberland on Tuesday morning?

It will be cloudy with temperatures between 7 and 10C with a south-westerly wind.

There should be the occasional sunny interval this afternoon and it will be windy too. A few drops of rain are expected, but not heavy and temperatures could rise as high as 12C.

What will the weather be like this evening and tonight in Northumberland?

It will become windier as the evening wears on. Temperatures will remain relatively high at 10 to 12C. The cloud cover is expected to leave us by about 10pm. Some rain could fall at around 6 or 7pm

The Met Office says the outlook for Wednesday to Friday is: “Wednesday, windy but mostly dry with some sunny spells. Less windy Thursday, but cloudy at times with a risk of rain. Dry with sunny spells Friday after a chilly night.”
