Wednesday morning will be cloudy at first with patches of mist and fog. It will be a chilly start to the morning with temperatures reaching just 5C by 11am.

Moving into the afternoon, the day is likely to see some sunny periods but there will also be a chance of showers. Afternoon temperatures are expected to reach a high of 6C.

The Met Office UK outlook for Saturday, November 23 to Monday, December 2 says: “The unsettled weather is set to carry on into next week, as weather systems continue to push in across the UK, bringing a risk of rain and showers for many.

“It will turn milder than as of late, but it may feel cooler in some stronger winds that accompany any spells of rain.

“There is an above average risk of overnight fog forming in any clearer spells overnight, which could be slow to clear in places.”
