According to the Met Office forecasters, our region is set to enjoy a fine day with sunshine and a freshening northeasterly breeze.
Highs of 17°C are expected in Northumberland with temperatures remaining fairly warm into the evening and overnight.

Hide AdTemperatures are set to continue throughout the weekend and into next week but the sun is set to be replaced by cloudy weather and potential thunderstorms with the Met Office issuing a yellow weather warning.
The warning read:” Some places are likely to see severe thunderstorms early next week - but there is significant uncertainty in location and timing.”
