An area of strong winds will move eastwards across Scotland, northern Saturday, February 8 between 12noon and 12midnight. Gusts of 50mph to 60mph are expected widely inland while exposed coastal areas and hills could see gusts of around 70mph. Heavy rain and surface spray will make for poor travel conditions, and cause delays to public transport.
