Hour-by-hour forecast as Storm Dennis is set to bring 'very strong winds' to Northumberland

Met Office forecasters have issued a yellow weather warning ahead of Storm Dennis arriving this weekend – this is what to expect and when.

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning of “very strong winds” for Saturday, February 15 and Sunday, February 16 when Storm Dennis is due to hit.

The warning will come into force at around 10am on Saturday and shows no sign of leaving until midnight on Sunday.

Forecasters have warned that the blustery winds could cause disruption. Delays to road, rail, air and ferry transport are likely and spray and large waves are predicted at the coast.
