The various Christian denominations in the Seahouses area clubbed together to hold a Procession of Witness on Good Friday in Seahouses.
Farne Churches Together told the story of the Passion of Christ while on a walk round the coastal village.
The worship started at St Paul’s Anglican Church and, following the cross, the procession moved down Main Street to the first school, past the health centre and on to St Aidan’s RC Church. They then walked to the village centre and the Methodist Church and finished on the dunes north of the harbour.
“We’ve been giving out the story of Christ’s passion to everyone we could possibly get one into their hands,” said the Rev Canon Judy Glover. “We have been singing hymns, saying our prayers and hearing the story of our Lord’s passion and crucifixion.”
