Sharp suits and gorgeous gowns were the name of the game as Duchess’s Community High School students celebrated their end-of-year prom.
The Year 11 pupils got themselves all glammed up for the special and memorable occasion on Friday.
The party – which gave the students the chance to celebrate and let their hair down after the stress of recent exams – was held at Newcastle United’s St James’ Park.
The youngsters were treated to a reception drink and posed for pictures – both formally and in the crazy-pics photo booth.
A two-course evening meal was served and followed by awards as voted for by the students.
Lauren Baillie and Jamie Dundas were crowned Prom Queen and King.
The pupils then danced the night away at the disco until 11.30pm, before returning to Alnwick.
