A gnome, which was previously spotted in Fairfields, in Alnwick, has taken up lodgings in a new part of the town.
The six-feet-tall giant, called Dumpty, was first eyed by Gazette reader Eddie Budd two weeks ago and now he’s found a new home in Bridge Street.
Home-owner Judith Francis got a bit of a surprise when she opened the curtains to see Dumpty filling her view but has made friends with her new lodger.
The culprit turned out to be local builder Ivan Laidler and watch out - he says Dumpty will be on the move again soon.
