WATCH: First Sea King departs RAF Boulmer

The first of two iconic yellow Sea King helicopters has departed RAF Boulmer this morning.

R132 left the Northumberland base at just after 9.45am and was waved off by crowds of people inside the camp.

The second helicopter, R131, is due to fly off from RAF Boulmer for the last time at around 11am.

It essentially marks the disbandment of 202 Squadron and the end of the search and rescue service being based in the county.
