The Christmas spirit is alive and kicking in Bamburgh after the village held its festive lights switch-on yesterday.
A service took place at St Aidan’s Church and was followed by a blessing of the nativity scene, which was led by Rev Brian Hurst and local children. Hundreds of people attended.
The switch-on was done by village warden Harry Lumsden and resident Robert Thomas.
