New this year is an image of a giant snowflake projected on to the gable end of the Olde Ship Inn.
Santa was a special visitor to last Thursday’s event.
Zoe Annison, with a little help from Santa, had the honour of switching on the lights.
Several local businesses have also made a special effort to ensure their shopfronts blend in with the festive feel.
