This is part of a major new series to compile Northumberland’s Top 10 in a number of categories.

The county has many amazing attractions and must-see places and the Northumberland Gazette, Berwick Advertiser, Morpeth Herald and News Post Leader aims to gauge opinions on its highlights and discover which ones are the most popular.

For the next two weeks and then monthly after that, we will present a new topic and ask you to vote for your favourite. It started with castles and now its time for beaches.
