Volunteers deliver hampers
Community Action Northumberland and a team of volunteers spent Christmas Eve delivering food hampers across the county.
Christine Nicholls, Community Development Officer from CAN said, we asked charities, churches and village agents to nominate someone from their community to receive a food hamper; we had nominations right across the county.
The hampers are just one of the projects funded by Northern Gas Networks which benefit the people of Northumberland.
