Vikings to invade castle
A Viking invasion is on the cards at a north Northumberland castle next weekend.
The Northumbria Herred of the Vikings will invade Bamburgh Castle on Sunday, May 29, and Monday, May 30, for a weekend of Viking fun.
They will show what life was like in a tented camp and will give talks and demonstrations.
The Vikings will be in situ during opening hours, 10am to 5pm.
The Viking events are included in normal admissions charges.
