Videography firm is taking off for Chris
A Felton man's new videography business has made a flying start, sparking interest from major hospitality venues and attractions in the North East.
Chris Davidson has launched Chris Davidson Films and his venture focuses on wedding and property videography.
Since starting, his business has pulled in commissions from Doxford Barns, The Alnwick Garden, Sunderland Wall and a growing number of private works.
Chris said: “Ever since I was young I’ve always been fascinated by cameras, and film production. I am a passionate Northumbrian videographer.”
Chris was educated at Alnwick’s Duchess’s Community School and went on to complete a degree in film and moving image production at The Northern Film School, part of Leeds Met. University.
When it comes to weddings, Chris prides himself on producing relaxed and discreet coverage.
He said: “Over the past five years, I’ve developed and gained experience that has made my shooting style into what it is now. I believe that the best footage is the most natural; so I will try my very best to ensure that’s exactly what is captured. No awkward smiles, poses or feeling on edge having cameras following you around, because you’ll know I’m there.”
In addition, he intends offering this bespoke service to holiday lets, land and estate agents’ aerial surveying, creating a unique selling point as part of a property portfolios.
In 2015, he created a video for The Alnwick Garden’s festive fair and the attraction’s director, Mark Brassell, said it exceeded his expectations.
