All things Irish were celebrated today as part of a huge fund-raising campaign on a local beach.

St Oswald’s Hospice and the Cystic Fibrosis Trust were two of the charities being supported by Green Day at Longsands beach.
Moyra’s Green Run was part of the fundraising efforts alongside other exciting and entertaining initiatives such as an ambitious attempt to break the world record for the largest human shamrock and a St Patrick's Pooches competition.
