The 40th Alnwick International Music Festival is in full swing.
The eight-day showcase began on Saturday and groups from Ghana, Belgium and America have descended on the town. They have been joined by an array of homegrown talent.
It hasn’t been all plain sailing though, with performers from India and Bulgaria dropping out at the last minute.
Despite this, festival chairman Alan Symmonds has said that the event is going well. The music festival runs until Saturday.
