A band of bike enthusiasts roared into RAF Boulmer, Northumberland, today as part of a fund-raising tour.
The procession of Harley-Davidsons had earlier passed through Alnwick before calling at the base and giving station commander Group Captain Paul Atkinson a close-up view of the famous bikes.
The Geordie Chapter of the Harley-Davidson Owners Group were on their annual ABC ride, visiting Albermarle Barracks, near Stamfordham, Northumberland, RAF Boulmer and Tynemouth Lifeboat Station.
They were raising money for Help for Heroes and the RNLI.
The visit comes ahead of Armed Forces Day tomorrow, which kicks off with a military parade through Alnwick from noon and also coincides with the 60th anniversary of RAF Boulmer. Details in the Northumberland Gazette.
