UPDATE: A1 reopened after crash
The A1 in north Northumberland has reopened following an accident this afternoon.
The road was closed for more than two-and-a-half hours between the B1340 Denwick junction and the B6347 at South Charlton after the crash between Charlton Myers and Rock, just north of Alnwick.
Diversions were in place via the old A1.
