UPDATE (5.10pm): A1 in Northumberland reopens after HGV fire
The A1 has reopened after an HGV fire closed both lanes near Belford.
Both north and southbound lanes at Mousen Bends were closed after the lorry caught fire at about 2pm.
Diversions were put in place and drivers advised to leave extra time for journeys.
The lorry has now been recovered and the carriageway cleared.
