Two people killed in a house fire in Northumberland have been named by police.

John Dey, 70, and Brenda Woodhall, 69, were killed in the incident, which happened in Lucker last Wednesday morning. They both lived at the address.

Police and fire investigators are still working to establish the cause of the fire. There is believed to be no third-party involvement in the deaths and a report will be prepared for the coroner.

Last week, shocked resident James Tait spoke of the moment that he saw the house blaze.
