Police are appealing for information after an incident of criminal damage in Alnwick town centre.
The incident happened at the former video shop on Clayport Street and was reported in the early hours of Monday.
A window was smashed at the premises and a witness saw two males running from the scene. Police are urging anyone else with information to call them on 101.
It isn’t the first time that vandals have targeted premises in Alnwick town centre.
Earlier this summer, several businesses had windows smashed by yobs during an overnight spree of damage.
That episode of vandalism came little more than a month after police launched Operation Augusta, to fight back against criminal damage and anti-social behaviour in the town, following a crime wave including bin fires, graffiti and other window damages.
