A third man was seen being repeatedly punched and kicked during the fight but he was not there when police arrived and hasn't reported the assault. Police would like him to get in touch so they can establish that he is all right.

Police said the incident involved a large group of people. Officers have been carrying out inquiries and reviewing CCTV footage of the incident.

A 23-year-old man has also been arrested and released on bail.

Police would like anyone else in the area at the time to get in touch. It was a busy time and a number of people would have been wearing fancy dress for Hallowe'en.
