Two HGVs crash on A697
One lane on a stretch of the A697 in Northumberland was closed earlier today following a collision between two HGVs this morning.
The incident happened at around 10.45am, north of the Powburn junction at Low Hedgeley.
A Northumbria Police spokeswoman said that the drivers of both vehicles suffered minor injuries. The southbound carriageway was closed, but it has now reopened.
