To mark English Tourism Week, which runs from Saturday to Sunday, March 13, the Coast, Castles and Countryside Trail has been launched by The Inn Collection Group (ICG).

Visitors can chose to stay at The Lindisfarne Inn, close to Holy Island, The Kings Head Inn in North Yorkshire, and The Seaton Lane Inn in Durham, in any order. Staying at the three inns – all run by the ICG – means a visitor is never more than half-an-hour from the coast or a castle, while being close to the countryside.

A three-night stay with dinner, bed and breakfast for two people before March 20 is £240. Book during English Tourism Week to receive a further 10 per cent discount.

Keith Liddell, of The ICG, said: “We are lucky to have inns located in amazing positions along the North-East coastline that are within easy reach of some of the region’s best attractions.

“What better week than English Tourism Week to launch this new trail that showcases not only the quality of the Group’s food, drink and accommodation offer, but also the amazing locations where you can find our inns?”

In addition to the trail, The ICG is offering a 10 per cent discount at any of its other inns when booked during this year’s English Tourism Week and only to those calling 0191 5803610 and quoting English Tourism Week.
