Driver taken to hospital following crash on A1 near Belford
The A1 was closed in both directions last week after a two-HGV collision.
Traffic diversions were in place following the crash, near Belford, on Friday afternoon.
A Northumbria Police spokesman said the driver of one of the vehicles, a 52-year-old man, was taken to hospital as a precaution.
The road was closed both north and southbound while emergency services were at the scene and motorists were advised to use the A697.
