Amble will be celebrating the Queen’s 90th birthday by lighting the beacon on The Braid.
The event will take place on Thursday, April 21, from 6pm to 8pm.
There will be music from local band Come Together and a collection in aid of the Amble RNLI Shannon Appeal.
The beacon will be lit at 7.30pm.
Amble beacon is one of many which will be lit throughout the UK, Channel Islands, Isle of Man and the UK’s overseas territories in celebration of the Queen’s birthday.
The aim is to unite the nation in common celebration of this important milestone in her life.
