This year’s Alnwick Tourism Fair, serving north Northumberland and the Borders, takes place in March at Willowburn Sports and Leisure Centre,
Jude Leitch, general manager of Northumberland Tourism, said: “Last year, we enjoyed a bumper crop of visitors to Northumberland over the summer months.
“Heritage, natural beauty, dark skies, cycling and walking, and festivals are all special qualities which draw visitors to the county. We also continue to be a popular location for film and TV.
“As we prepare for the 2015 season, the North Tourism Fairs are excellent networking events and a chance to showcase why Northumberland is so highly rated as a domestic holiday destination.”
Hospitality providers from around the county and the Borders will be welcomed at the event, which will take place on Wednesday, March 18, from 10am to 2.30pm. Members of the public are also welcome. Admission is free.
Refreshments provided by Alnwick’s Olive Branch café will be available.
