Toddlers take a walk on the wild side

TODDLERS are stepping out for a massive fund-raising event.

The Barnardo’s Big Toddle is taking place in Northumberland for the 15th consecutive year this summer.

Last year, toddlers from across the county helped to raise £24,000, and it is hoped that figure can be beaten this year.

The money raised will go towards Barnardo’s work for children with disabilities and parents in need of help.

Following last year’s pirate-themed fancy dress, this year the charity is encouraging children to dress as their favourite wild animal for this year’s safari and jungle theme.
