Thousands raised for HospiceCare

Thousands of pounds have been raised for HospiceCare North Northumberland after the Armstrong family '“ who own Bamburgh Castle '“ adopted the cause as its charity of the year 2015.

It enabled the charity to run two major events at the attraction – summer music extravaganza The B Festival and a sponsored abseil down the Constable Tower.

The events raised more than £16,000, to support the delivery of Hospice at Home overnight care.
