Thefts of diesel spark appeal

Police are appealing for information after a spate of fuel thefts.

Diesel was stolen from South Broomhill between 3pm on Sunday and 7.30am on Monday.

On Saturday, March 11, thieves stole red diesel from a tank at a Longframlington farm.

Meanwhile, a trailer which was stolen from Rothbury has been recovered in Pegswood by police and a man has been arrested.

The Ifor Williams trailer, serial number 702922, was taken from Hillside Road on the evening of February 8.
