Thefts appeal

POLICE in north Northumberland have appealed for information following four thefts from farms last week.

Between Wednesday and Thursday, June 8 and 9, farms near Alnwick, Belford and Berwick were hit by thieves. They escaped with thousands of pounds worth of farming tools and equipment.

At Adderston Mains Farm, near Belford, over £3,500 worth of equipment was taken from a farm outbuilding, including a generator and saws. Between 3pm on Wednesday, June 8 and 9am the following day a horse box was taken from a farm in Rock.
