Women with a flair for fashion will be in the spotlight at a north Northumberland show.
Stylish visitors to Glendale Show on August Bank Holiday Monday will be in with the chance of being awarded the title of best dressed lady.
Glendale Agricultural Society is highlighting the important roles women play in agriculture and rural industries by giving this year’s show the theme of The Year of the Lady.
Judges will be scouring the showfield for well-dressed women and handing out golden envelopes inviting the shortlisted candidates into the main ring for the final judging.
The best-dressed woman and a runner-up will be presented with gift vouchers donated by Stephanie Tait, who recently opened her own interior design and gift shop, Stephanie Louise Designs, in Wooler.
She said: “There are no rules or regulations in this competition, but I am sure the judges will be looking for people who have a flair for fashion, elegant perhaps, and of course in keeping and appropriate for Glendale Show.”
