Thanks for bringing memory back

This photograph of a fund-raiser for Amble Christmas lights sparked memories for one reader who is pictured. Sue Murray, then Sue Latto, got in touch to say that the group did a three-legged walk collecting on the streets and in local pubs, starting at the Harbour Inn. The couple at the left are Heather Thompson and Richard Howard, the other three at the back are known by face, but not name, and Sue is at the front with Paul Talbot.
