THANK YOU: Strangers came to my rescue

I would like to thank the three men who stopped to help me in Denwick Road after I broke my ankle on the grass verge while walking my dog last Tuesday afternoon.

Two of the men, from Outlook HEC, took me in their van to A&E whilst the third man, who I believe may be John Robinson, followed with the dog.

John then waited outside with the dog (who was very well behaved, I think) for over half an hour until my husband got there.

It’s so heartening that people with their busy lives stop to give their time and help to a stranger.
