Housing and support organisations met Northumberland County Council tenants in Amble at a drop-in session earlier this month.
Organised by the council’s housing team, the event at the Radcliffe Club aimed at offering advice and guidance to tenants.
They were able to meet representatives from Citizen’s Advice Bureau; the Community Alcohol Partnership; MIND; the local credit union; and Amble Town Council. The county council’s Alnwick housing team, including anti-social behaviour officers, also attended.
Hannah Brewis, housing officer for Amble, said: “This drop-in session was a great way for people to access organisations which offer help.
“It was also very helpful for the housing team to find out more about the issues concerning our tenants.
“We hope to be able to offer similar events in the future.”
