Teenager fined for drunken behaviour outside nightclub
A teenager has been fined for being drunk and disorderly in Berwick town centre.
The case against Ryan Flynn, 18, from Byker in Newcastle, was found proved in his absence by Berwick magistrates last Thursday.
The court heard that the incident took place in the early hours of October 28.
Police saw the defendant arguing with door staff at Bedrocks nightclub in Golden Square shortly before 2am. The court was told that the defendant, who had a facial injury and was covered in blood, was trying to get back into the club to fight someone. He was warned about his behaviour before being arrested by police.
He was fined £40 and must pay costs of £70.
