Taking to the water on Coquet
Coquet Shorebase Trust held a very popular event on the lake at Druridge Bay Country Park on Saturday as part of the nation's biggest ever Sports Day.
Superb weather saw 130 people of all ages take to the water, trying out canoeing, kayaking, sailing, windsurfing and stand-up paddleboards.
Members of the Coquet Canoe Club, Coquet Windsurfing Club and Coquet Sailing Club gave instruction and encouragement, as well as information about opportunities to take up new sports.
