Taking the plunge at Coldingham Bay

More than 100 people took to the chilly waters of the North Sea for the traditional Loony Dook dip at Coldingham Bay on New Year's Day.

It was a beautiful, bright day but there was still a biting breeze.

Many of those taking part were raising money for charity.

There was also a good turnout of spectators watching from the sidelines.

St Abbs Lifeboat was in attendance providing safety boat cover.
