THRILLSEEKERS are needed to fly along a wire 100 feet in the air in the name of charity.
The charity zipslide event is being held at Chillingham Castle in aid of HospiceCare North Northumberland on Bank Holiday Monday, May 30.
The event follows last year’s success when the charity raised £7,500.
Harnessed to a steel wire, volunteers will swoop down several hundred feet. A team of highly skilled instructors are on hand for those taking part.
The event is part of a Roman re-enactment weekend at Chillingham Castle in aid of HospiceCare.
Other activities include children’s arts and crafts, and infantry and cavalry displays.
Participants can take part in the zipslide for £20 on the day without any sponsorship needed but you can also register in advance for £15, which secures your place and give you the chance to book a time slot.
Anyone over 13 years old or under 16 stone can take part in the slide. All under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
For more information or to book your place contact the hospice on 01665 606515.
