The school has invested in a refurbishment of the nursery to create a bright and welcoming indoor space for children.

The outdoor space now includes a woodland area for the Early Years pupils, which complements the existing Forest School site within the grounds. Headteacher Nicki Mathewson said: “We are very proud of our nursery and of the learning opportunities that it provides and we welcome new parents to come and see what we offer at our school.”

The nursery is also developing a strong partnership with the Rothbury Kindergarten to offer 30 hours of free childcare for eligible families.
