Top of the pic parade was a lovely view of Warkworth Castle under dramatic skies by Janine Lundy, with 208 likes.

In second was a stunning sunrise at Bamburgh by Tony Robson, who’d had a 4.30am start to get the shot. It was liked 160 times.

Third place went to a smashing picture of Bamburgh Castle, between blue sky and yellow oil seed rape, by Steve Napier, with 138 likes.

In fourth was a quirky Christine Teasdale photo of Amble, the Friendliest Port, where she says people always find time for a chat, on land and sea. It got 126 likes.
