A stunning sunrise at Druridge Bay hit the spot with our Facebook friends last week.

Jimmy’s atmospheric photo, with the sunrise casting a rosy glow over the dunes, was liked 235 times.

In second was a Neil Milburn shot of a dog making the most of its vantage point in the Cheviots, which attracted 193 likes.

Third place, with 146 likes, went to Kathryn Gillie’s view of a calm evening Amble.
